I found Debbie lovely, friendly and very easy to talk to. Before each session we had a chat about how I was feeling, how my week had been and Debbie explained what the session would involve and the steps we were going to take.
After the first couple of sessions and listening to the audios between times, it became easier to relax into the sessions and become more deeply meditative. As a result of this I noticed improved sleep straight away.
Previously I would wake in the night and be unable to return to sleep due to overthinking, but after a couple of sessions I was able to relax back into sleep in no time at all.
The more you practice this the more advantage you gain. With regard to anxiety this mainly stems back to lack of confidence, worrying I’m not good enough, can’t cope with things, that I didn’t have the necessary skills, all learned behaviour from the past. With Debbie’s help, after a few sessions and with the help of the audio clips, I was able to see a way forward to a brighter, calmer future where I can handle anything which comes my way.

I loved Debbie’s explanation of how the mind works – it was clear that she was knowledgeable about it and explained it very well.
Her voice is lovely and calming – I felt very safe and cared for during our sessions. Listening to the audios gave me time to switch off each day.
Debbie was able to gently question my subconscious mind to find the root cause of my habit and it was quite emotionally releasing to go back to the origin and re-evaluate how I feel about it.
The most amazing thing is that I no longer feel the urge to bite my nails anymore!
We approached Debbie to see if she could help my elderly mother overcome general anxiety, loss of confidence and grief after losing her husband of 68 years.
Debbie was highly professional from the outset and put mum at ease straight away, who was unsure about whether the sessions would have any impact. However, mum found the sessions to be very relaxing, comforting and reassuring. She found it easy to talk to Debbie and felt that anything she said was in the strictest confidence. She also found the audios to be really relaxing and useful and this helped to ensure the message didn’t go stale as well as helping to lift her mood when she feels anxious.
From our point of view it has given her strategies to cope better when she is feeling anxious and has helped to improve her confidence to go out and enjoy each day as well as enjoying a short break away for the first time in a few years. I would highly recommend Thrive Hypnotherapy and would most definitely say that age is no barrier to sessions with Debbie.
This has been a really positive experience so far. I have noticed lots of positive changes and other people have noticed changes that I wasn't aware of. The sessions have helped me to look at things differently and understand myself better. I now understand why I respond to situations in certain ways and I am learning to respond differently. I have also found the weekly audios really helpful and use them regularly at home.
I came with an open mind expecting help and found the experience beneficial. Deb helped me to focus on the issues and more. I have been on a journey that now lets me see my future in a positive light and the past closed. I would highly recommend this therapy and Deb as a therapist.
